Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice... but for those love, time is an eternity.

ALCOHOL AND THE INNER EAR - WOW
This is a fascinating video even if you don't find yourself self suffering from too much alcohol intake. Sometimes I wonder if it's not so bad to get a hangover every once in awhile just to remember that drinking is not good for you!

A SOMEWHAT DIFFERENT LOOK AT JESUS
NOTE: I do not wish to cause anyone to get upset over this picture. I posted it because, as I have said in similar post, Christ would have been this really cool guy to hang around. Truly he also had most serious moments and times of prayer and solitude. But in between those times he (according to what I believe) enjoyed a good laugh. In some ways the Last Supper was a celebration of things to come.

LETTER FROM EINSTEIN
I found this letter on a great site I visit often (WWW.LETTERSOFNOTE.COM). You can go to the site for an explanation of why he wrote it. For some reason I find it his words here striking and they cause me to think about our place in things. I've read it several times and still wonder what he was saying, you can take it as his support or opposition towards religion... I think.
It reads as follows:
February 12, 1950
Dear Mr. Marcus:
A human being is a part of the whole, called by us "Universe", a part limited in time and space. He experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest — a kind of optical delusion of his consciousness. The striving to free oneself from this delusion is the one issue of true religion. Not to nourish the delusion but to try to overcome it is the way to reach the attainable measure of peace of mind.
With my best wishes,
sincerely yours,
Albert Einstein.

THREE THINGS I CAN'T DO
This guy is amazing! His skill set includes three things I can't do: juggle, solve a Rubik's Cube, solve a Rubik's Cube with one hand... wow!

STAR WARS WEDDING RINGS
There is a scene in the Empire Strikes Back were Han Solo is about to be deep frozen in Carbonite. Right before this happens Princes Lea tells Han "I love You" ... Han replies "I know" (in ever such a cocky way). Anyway these rings are for true geeks... which is me... although I believe my wife is more of a Star Trek person.
