Someone once told me this and I try my best to remember it before I say something about somebody. The problem is that sometimes I can't get past the first letter.
T = is it Thoughtful.
H = is it Helpful.
I = is it Informative.
N = is it Necessary to say it.
K = is it Kind.
Time is too slow for those who wait, too swift for those who fear, too long for those who grieve, too short for those who rejoice... but for those love, time is an eternity.

ALIEN VS. PREDATOR (FUNNY)
Here are two Alien Vs. Predator clips which were used to advertise the video game of the same name. There quick but very funny (or so I think).

CS SMOKE "TEAR GAS" WORKS
I love CS Smoke (commonly called tear gas... which actually refers to CN Smoke). Look in this photo where the smoke is and the people aren't... Amazing stuff with no physical effects post exposure... it works.
Also, if you watch carefully at the movie Avatar there is a scene where they eject the blue people from their tree with CS.
Cool stuff if it works on people from different planets (because it certainly works here)!

SHOWER BRAIN GAMES
I come across an article on this topic every so often that I've always thought was interesting.
Many people believe that if you shower with your eyes closed that it causes the brain to work harder and gives it somewhat of a workout. Try this, it is not as easy as it sounds... with the lights on (that's part of it) close your eyes, turn on the water and set the temperature accordingly, shower, wash and dry off... then open your eyes.
It's amazing that something we do everyday can seem so foreign.
If you are really brave put in some foam ear plugs!
BIG PERSON/SMALL VIRUS
It's amazing that something as small as a virus (typically 80 to 100 nanometers) can sneak into, replicate and attack a host. Further, it can be so incredibly effective so fast that the victim has little warning of what is coming. The cool thing is that when your body figures out how to fight the intruder it usually wins. Scary stuff none the less, if something really nasty ever came up (I could name a dozen SCIFI movies) we'd be toast.
Had to look this up... a nanometer is 1x10(-9)... that's one billionth of a meter.

SPAM AND MUCINEX D
I am currently infected with a nasty strain of an Influenza pathogen. Although I seem to remember getting a flu shot not too long ago... what's up with that. So I am stuck in the house on what appears to be a great day outside. In short (so I believe) the CDC tries to pick three strains that may spread during the flu season and has companies produce as many doses as possible... oh, this has to be done at least six months in advance and sometimes a strain they didn't plan on sneaks through. As luck would have it that is probably the one I got.
So about the pictures... Mucinex D seems to work good clearing your chest congestion up and the Spam is just good nutrition. Plus, Spam taste even better when your sick (I think)! If they could only figure out a way to combine the two.
Where is the SCIFI connection to all this: 28 Days Later and I Am Legend were on TV last night... spooky... although I think The Stand would have been more appropriate. :)
FLYING CAT - REPOST
You've seen the flying dog so here is a repost of the cat.
My standard comment is as always...Amazing!

CONTRA
Contra was one of the earliest video games that allowed you to put in a cheat code... the game was so hard (at least to me) that you had to cheat. I remember playing the first Mario Brothers, they only gave you three lives and no ability to save. Kids (and grown-ups) today can save their progress as they succeed throughout a game... if you get killed off you simply start over again on your last save.
Anyway, it's kind of scary that someone took the time to nit a sweater like this.
Oh, the cheat code was: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, Start.

WORK ETHIC AND SATISFACTION
So I have been trying to have a happier attitude at work. It is at times like these when I need to remember that one day I'll just be a story people tell at lunch. I work with younger guys now who don't have any idea who the older guys are... wow... when did this happen and when will it happen to me? Having said that I still have a cool job. Anyway I think this poster puts it all into perspective.
