IS THIS OUR FUTURE

More and more often today we speak to each other through some type of electronic means.  Sometimes I even find myself looking at the Internet on my phone while at lunch... none of my friends say anything about because they are doing the same thing... the odd part is that even while we are doing this we still manage to carry on a conversation.  In this picture below we see (so I think) a person who has forsaken his real life for one that may seem real or better but is not. 

Is this our future?
