Most people will pretty much agree that Alien is very close to being a perfect science ficiton movie. Although some of it is kind of dated now (it was made in 1979... in the movie the computer interface is almost comical) it still has some decent effects. I was watching it again the other night and I noticed something that really bothered me. It seems that they let the cat have it's way around the ship. Anyone who has ever spent much time around cats would know that the whole place would began to smell like a litter box after awhile... especially in a sealed environment.
