HEROS IN THE SKY

It's hard for people to imagine what it's like for an EMT to start an IV in the back of a moving ambulance unless you have done it... but it is difficult. I see a lot of pictures of flight medics providing care in the back of a military helicopter and view them with amazement. These medics operate in some of the worst conditions a war zone can offer. Often, due to light restrictions they work either in low light or no light (wearing NVG's). These guys are some of the true hero's of the war.
